VW mk3 VR6 Y Adaptor

As our beloved mk3 VWs age the plastic factory coolant fittings fail one-by-one. Plastic is a great way for the factory to lower costs, but not a lifetime solution. This particular fitting is a classic example. You're working on your car one night, lean on the wrong hose and with a snap the angled barb breaks off leaving your car stranded where it sits. The factory replacement for this fitting is only available as a complete radiator hose, priced at over $100. Prevent this failure before it happens!

Our Y adaptor is CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum. Fitment is truly exact. Our design accurately mimics the diameter and shape of the factory hose barbs. The back of our hose barbs are rounded over to allow removal of this adaptor at any time. Sharp hose barbs on tubing this large are essentially permanent. Like the factory fitting, the inlet of our fitting is tapered on both ends to smooth coolant flow. A brass 45° fitting is installed, allowing an strong, leak-free connection to the coolant bottle. The overall length of our fitting is shorter than the factory fitting for a cleaner look.
