Oil Pan with Tube, Hybrid (OEM Upgrade) VW 1.8T

These "hybrid" pans are a revision from Volkswagen and are OE custom produced as a half aluminum and half steel pans. These pans are perfect for those applications that run the risk of damage from being too low as these steel pans are stronger than the original aluminum ones. The lightweight and good thermal qualities of aluminium combined with the ground strike protection of steel. Available as a complete set to replace your old pan. The aluminum oil pans also tend to strip out the threads over time due to the metal oil drain plug and cause an oil leak. Replace yours even if its not damaged and you'll have piece of mind knowing that it will protect your investment.

These pans are the preferred pans of coilover suspension owners.
