The vw gti clutch is probably one of the most important performance parts of your car. the clutch on the vw gti is available as a stock unit or high performance, depending on your needs. The clutch consists of the clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing and the pilot bearing.When replacing the gti clutch you should replace it as a whole unit and it usualy comes in a kit. The gti  can get from zero to sixty in a mater of seconds and can get you back to nearly zero again by down shifting. This part is actually an assembly of parts that function as a coupling device, transmitting torque from the engine crank to the transmission input shaft. When we consider clutches, we think of three fundamental categories. Stock replacement, performance clutches, and racing . If your  gti is mildly modified and has a decent clutch from the factory, you might consider a stock replacement. If you've modified your engine to levels far beyond stock performance, you should consider a performance unit. In extreme cases, a racing clutch is justified. Our gti clutch grabs quickly, but without noisy chatter or severe vibrations in the pedal feel (stock flywheel equipped). It's smooth to engage, with little pedal effort required to depress it. There comes a time in every  gti s life when the clutch needs to be replaced. If you're the owner of a modified  gti, you've chosen to accelerate that process.
