Vw engine parts, eventually everyone is going to have a need for them. Even if you don't do a lot of driving some parts are still going to need replacing. Some engine parts like gaskets will start to dry out and eventually leak. The rubber on engine seals also can dries up and starts leaking, moving parts get wear and end up failing when you least expect it. Engine parts can be internal or external. Some internal engine parts consist of the oil pump, connecting rod bearings, main bearings, crankshaft, camshaft, pistons, piston rings, valves, that's just to name a few engine parts. External parts consist of the gaskets, timing belt, timing belt tensioner , pully's water pump, fuel pump, air intake. Replacing these engine parts is only recomended only if you have some knowledge of automobiles, some can be difficult or you can do serious damage if you don't know what your doing. Take the water pump for instance, you need to consider all of your options and do some planning. When replacing the water pump it would be a wise choice to replace the timing belt, if pump is driven by the belt. I had a friend ask me some advice, he was replacing the water pump on his car and he asked me some questions, one of the things I mentioned was to replace the timing belt as well. His answer was that it looks new, the car had over a 100,000 miles, he bought it used and didn't know if it was ever replaced and he wanted to save money. I have to tell you that it didn't last a year before he had to spend thousands to have the engine repaired by a professional this time. Engine parts are complicated and some times difficult to replace on some of the newer cars. On older cars, you could see all of the parts by just simply opening the hood and everything was right there. Body parts into days cars are very light weight and are available in many different material.
