Only 99-04 VW R8 style projector projector headlights are legal in united states, other headlights are legal only in Europe because of the reflector.

The new Audi A4, A5, S5, R8 are catching everyone's attention at night. Basically, the new design projector headlights give the new Audi cars their unique style. Currently, only latest Audi cars have these R8 style projector headlights design. Spyder is happy to present to you our upcoming items - R8style projector headlights. The new design projector headlights come with a strip of LED light bulbs at the bottom of the projector headlights, just exactly like R8 style. Moreover, these R8 style projector headlights are no longer limited to Audi cars, Spyder and Sonar is cooperating to develop this style head lights into more applications. Right now, Europe already has 96-99 Audi A4 R8 style projector headlights, 02-05 Audi A4 R8 style projector headlights, 97-00 VW Passat R8 style projector head lights, 01-05 VW Passat R8 style projector headlights and 99-04 VW  R8 style projector headlights. However, most of the people welcome the new R8 style LED and would love to install one on their car. Unfortunately, I guess the manufacturer is trying to test the market and not making Devil Eyes for a lot of models yet, there are only R8 style projector head lights available for most Audi A4, including 96-01 Audi A4, 02-05 Audi A4, and 06-08 Audi A4, Volkswagen cars such as VW Golf/Gti, VW Jetta only.
